The New School
A film exploring the passing of time, memory and imagination through children's responses to an archive film about their own school. The film combines archive and contemporary footage of Eastergate Junior School, near Chichester to forge a connection between two generations of pupils at the school 40 years apart. The original archive film was shot in 1970 when the old Victorian school was demolished and replaced by a then state-of-the-art design, now used very differently.
